(Preview) eCommerce Website Design: BlackFly Mobile

Overview

About the Project:

Looking to enter the Canadian market for high-end tech accessories, BlackFly Mobile needed a way to communicate the value of its product line to consumers while providing marketing and support matterials for "brick & mortar" vendors.

This design focused on presenting technically complex products as simply and powerfully as possible, which helped us to successfully sell all of our initial "first-run" stock ($16K) in only two days.

My Role:

I was in charge of Content Strategy & UX Design for the project, working with a small development team and reporting directly to the owners of the company to create a comprehensive online solution for both direct consumers and "third-party" vendors.

This presented an exciting opportunity to help validate a completely new line of products while informing, enticing, and delighting customers.

Results:

  • Fully-responsive eCommerce website design.
  • Sold 100% of initial stock (200 units) in 2 days.
  • Established retail vendor network of over two dozen Toronto-area stores.
