(Case Study Preview) eCommerce Website Design: BlackFly Mobile

My Role, Team Structure, & Highlights:

Entering the Canadian market for high-end tech accessories, BlackFly Mobile needed a way to communicate the value of its product line to consumers while providing marketing and support materials for "brick & mortar" vendors.

My role was to design the effort to present a novel set of products as simply and powerfully as possible, enabling a successful product launch.

  • Validated the initial start-up product line through intensive research, storyboarding, and feedback from potential customers.
  • Conducted end-to-end design for online & retailer networks focusing on customer needs, product marketing channels, and infrastructure requirements, resulting in all initial stock ($16K) being sold in less than 2 days.
  • Deepened established retail vendor network with B2B support with over two dozen Toronto-area stores, significantly enhancing our sales channels.
