Because I just can't leave well-enough alone, here's a record of the various improvements I've made to this website (some were even on purpose). Kept for posterity and the few curious people that just have to know.

Version 3

3.2.0 - (September, 2024) Regular content updates with a few optimizations thrown in:

  • Created case study content to include the latest work I did at AstraZeneca.
  • Updated "Resumé"" page to include latest work.
  • Refined the "About" page for a cleaner presentation and steamlined content.

3.1.0 - (May, 2022) Regular content updates with a few optimizations thrown in:

  • Created case study content to include the latest work I did at Lexis Nexis IP.
  • Updated "Resumé"" page to include latest work, software skills, added logos for easier visual parsing, and a collapsible section for optionally-viewed content.
  • Added some responsive typography tweaks to the CSS to clean up content presentation on smaller devices.

3.0.0 - (April, 2021) A significant redesign of version 2 that includes several additions:

  • Updated website to include Bootstrap 4.5, jQuery 3.5, and PHP 7 frameworks for enhanced functionality.
  • Updated "Case Study" (i.e. Independent School Management) and "Resumé" content, and redesigned those pages for better parsing to enhance browsing.
  • Introduced site-wide search functionality and the needed infrastructure (i.e. PHP back-end, meta tags with keyword terms, & SQL database).
  • Expanded "Media" section to include a section menu with individual pages for videos, articles, & reviews.
  • Included contact & feedback forms with ReCaptcha security features.
  • Updated social media links to include YouTube channel.
  • On-page navigation has been improved (i.e. collapsible content sections & "Top" navigation button).
  • Added "Downloads" page (accessible via Search) for alternate way to download printed materials (i.e. Resumé & Portfolio)
  • Cleaned up HTML code to make it more semantic and accessibility-friendly.

Version 2

2.1.0 - (November, 2018) Updated "Case Study" content to include latest work (i.e. Morgan, Lewis, & Bockius).

2.0.0 - (March, 2018) Completely redesigned website with the following improvements:

  • Rebuilt from scratch using HTML 5, jQuery 3.2, & Bootstrap 4 (Beta) frameworks for improved customizability and MUCH faster loading.
  • Streamlined visual design & created new assets for all pages that needed them.
  • Redesigned site structure to make relevant information easier to find & browse.
  • All pages utilize a "mobile first" design approach for accessibility on any device/screen size.
  • Updated "Case Study" content to reflect latest work.

Version 1

1.1.1 - (December, 2017) Updated content to enhance ability to browse, while including latest case study materials .

1.0.1 - (June, 2017) Streamlined WordPress widgets and hosting for faster loading.

1.0.0 - (August, 2016) Initial deployment of this website using the Wordpress platform to showcase:

  • Resumé
  • Portfolio of in-depth case studies for work (including web-based apps, websites, and product/service design work).
  • Contact information.
  • UX Blog.
